We recommend beginning your wedding cake planning with a phone call to us at our Dessert Shop six months prior to the date of your wedding. At this time, we will check availability based on previously booked clients and the season of your prospective date. To ensure the proper attention to detail, we usually book no more than two events per weekend.

The most popular weekends in Spring and Fall book quickly. So, to reserve your date, we require a $50 deposit (which is non-refundable). We then recommend scheduling an appointment for a consultation. At this time we will provide a sample box of 4 random flavors for you to take home. You will view our cake album and discuss your options for a custom-designed wedding cake.

If you are planning your event from a distance, and are unable to schedule an appointment, there are 2 options: You may choose a design from the Photo Gallery on our Web Site, or tell us the general Theme of your wedding plus your "likes" & "dis-likes" and we will create an original design specifically for you.

Our prices are based on a per-person charge depending on the flavor chosen. Additions to that base price can include: Delivery outside a 20-mile radius of our shop, Maryland Sales Tax, Fresh Flowers & other Decorating Materials, Set-up Equipment and Equipment Rental.

Our payment schedule requires that the balance of your cake's cost be paid one full week before the event. This does not include rental of Special Equipment. Deposit is Required at the time of Reserving the piece. It is full replacement Cost of the specific piece which is 80% refundable upon Un-damaged Return.
